Since our October 2023 meeting the Succession, Retention & Recruitment SWLM Subcommittee (consisting of PEF Representatives and Representatives of NYSIF Administration) have been meeting both formally and informally on the reallocation of the Policyholder Services Representative 1, Underwriter 1, and Claims Services Representative 1, from SG-18 to SG-20. NYSIF Administration has been very helpful in this process in providing information and guidance, these discussions have been very productive as you can see from the below justifications for this reallocation.

On Monday, June 24, 2024 the package for each of the above will be sent to Civil Service for their review and consideration. Below are the links to the justification documents:

We have begun discussions on the Insurance Fund Hearing Representative title series.

We are also discussing options on how we may address other titles that are not NYSIF specific. This may require collaborating with other PEF Divisions and their respective agencies.

We are committed to reviewing every title series that our members are employed in and this submission is just the beginning.
